Iron Lung

Iron Lung is one of those horror games that doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares—it just slowly gets under your skin. You’re stuck inside a tiny submarine, deep in a blood-red ocean on some distant moon, and yeah… it feels as bad as it sounds. After something called the “Quiet Rapture,” humanity is basically gone, and now you’re just a prisoner sent down there to figure things out. Not exactly a comforting mission.
Main Gameplay of Iron Lung
| Core Element | What You Do |
|---|---|
| Blind Navigation | Move using maps and coordinates since you can’t see outside clearly |
| Take Photos | Capture images of strange objects to complete your mission |
| Manage Resources | Keep track of oxygen, hull condition, and system status |
| Avoid Threats | React quickly to unknown creatures and dangerous situations |
How to play this game?
- Move the submarine: WASD or Arrow keys
- Interact with equipment: Use the physical buttons inside the sub
- Open / Close the map: Press Spacebar
If you’re into this kind of slow, psychological horror, you might also want to check out Horror Nun. It’s got a different style, but still manages to make you feel just as uneasy.
